Safety Tips

Five minute read Last updated July 7 2026 Made for India

The short version

Meet in public. The listed venue is the plan. Be wary of last minute private moves.

Tell someone. A friend should know where you are and with whom.

Own your ride. Arrange how you get there and back yourself.

Trust your gut. Leaving without explaining is always allowed.

Emergency means 112. One number for police, fire and ambulance anywhere in India.

01

Before you go

Plain words: two minutes of prep beats an hour of worry.

Read the plan fully

Know the venue, the time and what to bring before you tap join.

Check the host

Look at their profile before joining. A new host is fine. A vague one is a flag.

Tell someone

Share the activity name, venue and time with a friend or family member.

Plan your own ride

Arrange how you will get there and back without depending on strangers.

02

Meeting up

Plain words: public venue, daylight first, eyes open.

Public places only

Meet at the listed public venue. Be cautious if a plan suddenly moves somewhere private.

Daylight first

For your first meetup with a new group prefer daytime plans.

Arrive aware

Reach a few minutes early and get a feel for the group before settling in.

03

During the activity

Plain words: stay with the group and keep the chat on Tutto.

Stay with the group

Wandering off alone with a stranger defeats the point of a group plan.

Watch your drink

Keep food and drinks in your sight and accept sealed items when unsure.

Keep chat on Tutto

Pressure to move to private chats early is a common tactic. Take your time.

Leaving is allowed

If anything feels off you can leave without explaining. Your gut is enough.

04

Money and scams

Plain words: no advance payments to strangers and never share an OTP.

Pay at the venue

Genuine hosts state costs upfront and collect in person. Never send money to someone you have not met.

Guard your OTP

Nobody from Tutto will ever ask for your OTP, password or bank details.

Report money asks

Someone pushing for payments or off app transfers? Report them right away.

05

If you host

Plain words: you set the tone and people trust you for it.

Pick open venues

Choose public spots with easy access and exits at times that suit newcomers.

Greet and count

Welcome people as they arrive and keep track of who has come.

Look out for solo joiners

Introduce the person who came alone. It is why they are here.

You set the tone

If someone breaks the guidelines pause the plan and report them. Host reports carry weight.

06

If something goes wrong

Plain words: your safety beats politeness every single time.

Leave first

Get yourself somewhere safe before doing anything else.

Emergency means 112

One number for police, fire and ambulance anywhere in India.

Report and block

Reporting in the app removes them from your Tutto and protects the next person.

Afterwards, tell us at hello@tutto.app if you want a human to follow up. For online financial fraud you can also file at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.
